Royal family staying in the midst of the hustle.

"Bali white Kopi,....anyone?"

"Mocha, ginger tea, chocolate, lemon tea and Kopi"
That is cinnamon stick to add to the taste.

If you can see the cup, we're enjoying a pot of tea from Lake view hotel overseeing the Agung Batur.

The black patches are actually volcanic ashes.

Lake beside the mountain.

"Lunch time! Beside the rice terrace..."

"What strong and sturdy arms,.....I like....."
Peyy seem to be popular with Balinese guys,...hmmm,....

View of Rice terrace as we wait for our lunch.

Uncle is happiest waiting for lunch.

"Lunch time!!!!!"

Look at those happy face when food arrives.

Balinese fare (Most of it comes with Keropok)

Visiting 花果山 - land of the Monkeys

How many monkeys can you spot?

Trees where Tarzen learn to swing

"Let me style your hair"

UluWatu, last stop to see sunset before we break for dinner.

"Dinner's next!"

Blissful couple with uluwatu as the backdrop.
Notice the cliff behind. It's actually very windy.

A group shot.
Notice the little monkeys along the edge. Very very naughty monkeys.

Sunset at Uluwatu.

Very memorable sunset, 100% of glasses owners in our group were robbed of their glasses by the monkeys. They just snatched the glasses off our faces, and we had to trade with the monkeys for our glasses for food (by tipping the locals who provided the monkeys with food). This kinda spoilt the day. Makes me wonder if the monkeys were trained by the locals to do that....
Damage to my spectacles was nothing much, just those scratches made...
Uncle's one was bad. Both ends were chewed off by the monkeys...
Finally! Dinner! after the disturbing sunset. We couldn't really decide where to eat, so we ended up at this Ganesh Place.. Forgot the name of the restaurant. Seafood shopping!
Our fish.

Originally we had a live lobster, but it was too expensive, and we refuse to pay so much, so end up we changed for a dead lobster.

Sotong! VERY NICE

Happy couple enjoying candlelight. Can't see the candlelight..

LOBSTER! alot of meat.

Our fish. Grilled.

Prawns...looks a bit pathetic. Maybe they threw back a bit after we tried to haggle over the price.

This is the yummy calamari (dunno how to spell). DAMN NICE!!!! Soft, chewy, yums to the max! My FAV

Uncle happily eating the legs of the lobster. His first ever lobster.

7 Jun (Monday)
2nd day breakfast. Didn't order as much liao, to prepare for our massage later!

First stop for the day: Venetia Spa? Forgot how to spell le.

The room where we had the massage. First time we had yogurt all over our bodies instead of consuming it....

Bathtub full of rose petals.

Taman Ayun

Some characteristic of their temple doors. Always got 3. The middle one for the royals, the left side for women, right side for men. (if i remembered correctly)

Nice sunny weather that day.

Bell tower. Climbing down is kinda scary.

The bell in the bell tower. Wonder how to sound the bell...

Lunch!

View of the lunch place. Paying for the view.

Our spread:

At the twin lakes, with our guide. It was super misty at where we were...so I not uploading the photos of the lakes..can't see much.

Ulun Danu, another temple place.
This is what we are supposed to see.

Close up for uncle.
Actually the opposite shore is quite serene. Nice place to chill and nua. Quite relaxing.
Uncle say this frog reminds him of the 招财猫. JX say they will wake up at night and jump around the temple.
Uncle has a photo taken here, but it shows him being very fat among the tall thin trees..haha. POST LEH!
This eagle was made out of part of a tree. Kinda amazing.

Last stop for the day: Tanah Lot Temple sunset. Yes, another temple.

The shops leading to the temple.
Entrance.
Where pp gather to watch the sunset. A couple was taking wedding photos there.
Sunset. The dots in the water are actually surfers, enjoying the sunset, trying to catch for the right wave to surf.
Temple on some interesting structure.
Big big waves

Nice and cheap ice cream on the way back to the van. Magnum there is really cheap, but it's abit smaller though.
Where we had to do our last min shopping for some stuff to buy back to singapore. It's the equivalent of 7-11 in sg.
